Katherine Reim is the Executive Director of Special Olympics PA. Region 1.
Prior to her work with Special Olympics, Katherine worked at Achieva Family Trust (AFT) as a Regional Trust Liaison. She worked with beneficiaries to ensure that they had access to information pertaining to AFT as well as information on community resources such as PATF, Medicaid Waivers, etc. Before joining the staff full-time, Ms. Reim provided intensive case management for beneficiaries on behalf of the AFT.
Prior to working with AFT, Ms. Reim was the Program Manager/Assistive Technology Coordinator for Service Coordination, Unlimited (SCU). She oversaw the day-to-day operations of SCU’s Erie office and supervised the agency’s service coordinators who help people with disabilities receive the services they need to live independently and safely in the community. Ms. Reim also provided outreach and assistance to people with disabilities, families, and community members with funding information regarding access to assistive technology, including home modifications.
Ms. Reim has also worked as a Program Manager/Assistive Technology Coordinator at Community Living and Support Servies (CLASS).
