Program Associate
Carmella Rynearson is a Program Associate and Underwriter for PATF. She is primarily responsible for helping people access funding through PATF’s Loan Programs. Carmella also provides applicants with information about other possible assistive technology funding resources.
Prior to joining PATF’s staff, Carmella provided outreach for PATF as a Funding Assistance Coordinator in Northeastern Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Scranton with a BS in Child and Family Studies. For the past 17 years, she has worked with individuals who receive services through PA’s Home and Community Based waiver program administered by the Office of Long-Term Living. Carmella is a strong supporter of Self-Determination for individuals with disabilities and older adults. Through her work with nonprofit agencies, she has helped to promote independent living for all.
She currently lives in Lackawanna County with her husband, Earl and her pup, Sultana. Her adult son lives in Virginia with his fiancé.
