Director of Finance
Roberta Melnyk is proud to be serving as the Director of Finance at Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation. She is responsible for supporting the needs of the organization by monitoring grants and managing day-to-day financial operations.
Prior to joining PATF, she held a similar role at the Community YMCA where she supported program directors and managed all aspects of banking and finance. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Roberta brings many years of non-profit accounting experience, including a previous role at Special Olympics PA. She also earned her MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, OH.
Roberta’s oldest son has an intellectual disability which has provided numerous challenges to their family throughout the years. She has navigated the difficult issues surrounding IEP’s, ISP’s, and now CLA’s. She hopes that her work at PATF will help Special Needs people and their families get the assistance and support they require.
In her spare time, Roberta enjoys time with her husband, three sons, and their beagle! She also enjoys reading legal thrillers, lifting weights, and walking in nature.
