Katherine Reim is the Regional Trust Liaison at ACHIEVA Family Trust (AFT). She works with beneficiaries to ensure that they have access to information pertaining to AFT as well as information on community resources such as PATF, waivers, etc. Before joining the staff full-time, Ms. Reim provided intensive case management for consumers on behalf of the AFT.
Prior to working with AFT, Ms. Reim was the Program Manager/Assistive Technology Coordinator for Service Coordination, Unlimited (SCU). She oversaw the day-to-day operations of SCU’s Erie office and supervised the agency’s service coordinators who help people with disabilities receive the services they need to live independently and safely in the community. Ms. Reim also provided outreach and assistance to people with disabilities, families and community members with funding information regarding access to assistive technology, including home modifications.
Ms. Reim has also worked as a Program Manager/Assistive Technology Coordinator with CLASS.
Ms. Reim is the Immediate Past President of PATF. In the summer of 2001, Ms. Reim was awarded the Mental Health Advocate Award for exemplary service to people with mental and physical disabilities.
Ms. Reim and her husband are the parents of four children.
