November is Assistive Technology (AT) Awareness Month in Pennsylvania. To celebrate, Pennsylvania Assistive Technology Foundation (PATF) is hosting its 7th annual AT photo contest, Show Us Your Tech.

We know the difference assistive technology makes in our lives, and we’re joining PATF in spreading the word so the rest of the world will know it too. Raise awareness with us – Show Us Your Tech!

Share what AT means to you

Assistive technology (AT) doesn’t have to be complex or expensive to make a difference in your life. It could be:

  • An Amazon Echo to control the lights, fan, and TV independently.
  • Adapted sports equipment to play the game you love.
  • Electronic glasses to see the petals on the flowers in your garden.
  • A tablet with an app to help you communication with classmates and your teacher.
  • A mobility scooter to go for walks in the neighborhood with your family.

What kind of assistive technology are you using to do the things you want to do?

Upload a photo of YOU using your assistive technology, write about it in the caption, and share how you funded it. Get your friends to vote for your photo for a chance to win up to $500!

Entries and voting are open November 1 through November 30. Winners will be announced December 3 by 12 p.m on the contest website.
