Matthew Berwick currently serves as the Senior Program Manager, Disability Accommodations and Civil Rights Compliance, at the UPMC Health System and teaches part-time at the University of Pittsburgh.
Matthew has worked in the area of disability services for over a decade, serving on local, state, and national boards for people with disabilities. Currently, he serves on The Pennsylvania Department of Health’s Spinal Cord Research Advisory Committee, and as the President of the United Spinal Association of Pittsburgh.
Matthew has a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.A. in Adult Learning and Training, an M.S. in Health Informatics and is a Certified ADA Coordinator. In addition to the work Matthew does, he is very active in the Pittsburgh disability sports community and advocating in many areas for people with disabilities.
